About Janco Corporation
Janco Corporation first planted its roots in 1958 when the brothers George, Lewis, and Paul Janetos created the first plastic material to be used in shoulder pads for the Green Bay Packers team. Fast forward a few years in 1966, Janco transitioned beyond plastic fabrication and became an electronics manufacturing services and assembly.
In 1958, when the electronics industry began to diverge from plastics, original founder Lewis E. Janetos decided to incorporate Janco Electronics as a separate company. Currently, the company, now run by Janetos’ son Rollins Janetos, has evolved into a manufacturer that proudly serves a diverse customer base in medical, commercial, defense, and RF/microwave markets. Some of their accomplishments include hand building the mainframe core memory modules and circuit boards for IBM.
